VSEPRplex Demo A 3-D Molecular Modelling Set Distributed by Logos Software 43 Newcourt Place, Kingston, Ontario, Canada K7M 6Y1 (613) 546-4818 VSEPRplex DEMO FOR WINDOWS GETTING STARTED System Requirements In order to run the VSEPRplex Demo, a computer running Microsoft Windows (Version 3.1 or newer), a mouse, a VGA card and a colour monitor are required. Installation Before installing the VSEPRplex Demo, make a back-up of the VSEPRplex Demo disk, and then store the original disk in a safe place. The VSEPRplex Demo disk contains an install program, which can be used to install the VSEPRplex Demo (e.g., on a hard-drive). One method of running the install program is as follows. Turn on the computer and start Windows. Once Windows has started, insert the VSEPRplex Demo (back-up) disk into a floppy-disk drive, and select the Run... item from the Program Manager's File menu. Type a:install (or b:install, as the case may be) in the command line prompt box, and then click on the OK button, using the left mouse button. The installation program will ask where it should store the VSEPRplex Demo files. To accept the default (i.e., recommended) directory, click on the OK button. To store the files elsewhere, type the desired drive and path name, and then click on the OK button. If the specified directory does not already exist, it will be created, and the program disk will be copied to this location. A Program Manager group entitled "VSEPRplex Demo" will then be created. This group will contain a VSEPRplex Demo application icon and a VSEPRplex Demo Help icon. Loading To run the VSEPRplex Demo, turn on the computer, start Windows, and then locate and double-click on the VSEPRplex Demo application icon.
